Legislative Scholarships


Senatorial Scholarship for Legislative District 39

Who may apply: Students planning to enroll or are currently enrolled as full-time or part-time, degree seeking undergraduates at a 2-year or 4-year public or independent college or university in Maryland. Graduate students in a Maryland college may also apply. NOTE: Awards may be used at out-of-state institutions if the student's major is not available in Maryland. See unique majors for more information.

Further requirements:

You must live in Legislative District 39. Click here to check your address.

You must fill out the 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by March 1, 2010. Visit for more information or contact your school's guidance counselor.

You must fill out the Senatorial Scholarship application (contact Senator King's office to obtain the application form) and return it no later than April 15, 2010.
